Starting a new year 2026 by coming together as all AYLF Chapters' Coordinators to remind ourselves again about our key responsibilities, our AYLF DNA, goals, objectives, and sharpen one another for personal and AYLF organization's growth and sustainability is such an incredible and inspiring moment to move us forward with great energy, hope, and encouragement towards a realization of a better community and a future that works for all through service beyond self.

This year's retreat started from 8th to 10th / January / 2026 at Cenetra Hotel and gathered over 115 coordinators from 35 University Campuses and all the 5 province leadership teams in Rwanda. The conversations in the retreat were around AYLF DNA, inside-out / effective leadership, how to build effective teams for sustainable results, and the 5 C's of Leadership for longevity which were all facilitated by Dr. Pascal KIZUNGU HAKIZA - the Country Director of AYLF and Mr. William KINUNU - the Country Director of Cornerstone Development Africa, Rwanda. 

The retreat was also a great moment for networking and strengthening our relationships as brothers and sisters with the shared vision for a better and just world.
